Patrick Salvador is one of the most celebrated comedians on the African continent and believes comedy can not survive without music.

Speaking in an interview with local television, Salvador explained comedy and music feed off each other and that it's hard for one of them to survive alone.
"Where we have reached now, music and comedy are symbiotic. They feed off each other and there's no other better compliment to comedy than music," he said.
Often, the biggest comedy shows in the country are supported by musicians for them to be successful.
