For many years, the Ugandan music industry was dominated by three artists; Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine and Jose Chameleone.

This changed when the likes of Radio and Weasel, Eddy Kenzo, Sheebah, Fik Fameica, David Lutalo, King Saha, and Gravity Omutujju emerged to give them a run for their money.
City music promoter Bajjo however believes the trio still controls the biggest percentage of the Ugandan fanbase.

"These men; Bobi Wine, Chameleone, Bebe Cool are the real heavyweights. All these other musicians like Kenzo, Lutalo, Sheebah are on form but you can clearly see that they lack that extra weight,” Bajjo said.
Bajjo's statements come weeks after Gravity Omutujju asked them to retire from the industry.
