Isaac Mulindwa, a longtime landowner in Konge, Buziga, was brutally attacked and assaulted over the weekend by a group of individuals led by a man identified as Mathew Bakyawa.
Reports suggest that the motive behind the attack was an attempt to forcefully seize Mulindwa's land, which he has owned for over a decade.
Mulindwa recounted that he was attacked by a group of panga-wielding men who slashed him on the orders of Mathew Bakyawa. His car was also vandalized during the attack, adding to the trauma of the incident.
The assault was reported to the police in Konge, and a case has since been registered under reference 19/15/03/23 at the KMP CPS for further investigation.
