Musician Fred Ssebata was once a big star in the Ugandan music industry when multiple hit songs to his name.
His star started to dim when kidandali music took over.
He is now used as an example when msusicians are discussing why they need the copyright law implemented. He is grassing and choking on debts.
“I fell sick for two years and got many loans to help me treat the sickness. The guys of UgaTunes lied to me that they were buying my catalog. I didn’t get a penny,” he says
Ssebata now uses a boda boda for transport
