Former Miss Uganda Stellah Nantumbwe, also known as Ellah, recently opened up about her inspiring journey of embracing the Gospel and turning to street preaching.
In a candid interview with a local YouTuber, Nantumbwe fearlessly shared the distressing experiences that led her to reconnect with God and dedicate her life to His service.
“I will not stop preaching the word of God despite the trolls who have attacked me for preaching on the streets of Kampala. No one has the right to mock my journey with God. I had chosen to keep quiet and ignore them, but I am assuring them, I am rock solid and steadfast in my faith,” she said.
Despite facing criticism from internet trolls after a viral video of her preaching on the streets of Kampala, Nantumbwe remains resolute in her mission to spread the word of God. She refuses to be deterred by the negativity and expressed her unwavering commitment to continuing her preaching endeavors.
In the past week, several video clips showcasing Nantumbwe's street preaching in Kampala have garnered significant attention and sparked conversations.
Nantumbwe disclosed that she had endured various hardships that ultimately propelled her to seek solace in religion. These tribulations have fueled her newfound purpose in serving God, motivating her to take to the streets and share her personal testimony.
“A journey that’s tested my resilience, shaken my pride, tried my intelligence, weighed my forgiveness capability and my ability to simply let go…and let GOD. An emotional roller coaster that had me questioning my entire existence, my life choices and impact on each and every one I’d ever met, but a journey that I am ever so thankful for regardless. Please allow me to testify! God is simply amazing, because for every tear we cry he gives us double for our trouble and he does this more often than we may stop to acknowledge. Indeed in the pain was a plan,” Ellah said.
