Butchaman and Bobi Wine started the Firebase Crew together. However, along the way, jealousy arose over money, and Butcha quit the Kamwokya-based music group.
When Bobi Wine joined active politics, Butchaman chose to side with the government and has, for years, been very critical of Bobi Wine and his message.
However, the struggling musician has swallowed his pride and begged for help from Bobi Wine, claiming he should think about him and other people who laid the foundation for the Firebase Crew.
Butchaman believes Bobi Wine used the Firebase Crew to advance his career until now when he can take on the government.
"I want Bobi Wine to think about us. We, the people who started with him, should be remembered, and I want him to put us on payroll so we receive money every month," he partly said.
Butchaman believes that he, together with other musicians who started the Firebase Crew, should be receiving money monthly as a token of appreciation.
