Musician Bebe Cool has voiced his opinion on the plea from the late Mowzey Radio's mother, who is seeking 350 million Ugandan shillings from Ugandans.
Bebe Cool described the plea as an act of selfishness, criticizing the timing, which coincides with Weasel's concert.
Bebe Cool believes Kasubo Jane should have waited to express her concerns, possibly three months later.
"I think she was set up by a family member. It was a big mistake to make such a plea when Weasel is having his concert. Radio's mother blundered by going to the media for that money," he said.
Bebe Cool also urged Ugandans to stop sympathizing with everyone in need.
On Monday, Jane Kasubo, the late Mowzey Radio's mother, appealed to the media for 350 million Ugandan shillings to save her son's land.
Kasubo explained that she wants to complete payment for the land purchased by the late artist.
