Musician Azawi has spent part of this year calling out injustices in society. The singer also criticized the government over corruption and urged fellow musicians to join the youth in fighting it.
In a fresh interview with Capital FM, the Swangz Avenue singer attacked Parliament, saying they sleep on the job.
He compared the Ugandan Parliament to a group of comedians who lack focus on their fundamental role of oversight and instead focus on enriching themselves.
"For me, it's like this country is full of comedians. I feel the August House is a joke. I think every year they should host an event for us to come and enjoy their drama and comedy," she partly said.
Azawi believes corruption is hindering the country's development.
