The President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation and award-winning artist, Eddy Kenzo, was appointed as a Presidential Advisor on Creatives.
Despite the appointment, Kenzo says he is not a politician but a servant of artists who loves and works with the President of Uganda.
The BET winner explained that he will not be standing for any position in active politics, and no one should be worried about his stance.
Kenzo also said he will be working for the benefit of all musicians, including those who support other political parties aside from NRM.
"I’m not a politician, so don’t even expect me to stand for any position. I am working for the benefit of all musicians, even those who don't agree with me and those who don't support NRM. Working with NRM is the only way we can negotiate as artists," he explained.
Kenzo believes the music industry will benefit more because of his appointment, and everyone should welcome it.
