In July this year, musician Sheebah Karungi teamed up with Aaronix for the remix of "Njalwala."
The song has performed well, receiving massive airplay and dominating charts online.
Sheebah revealed that she personally requested the remix from Aaronix after hearing the original version. She first heard it while driving with Fik Fameica in his car, liked it, and the next day asked Fik for Aaronix's phone number.
"I looked for Aaronix myself and asked for the collaboration. I was driving with Fik Fameica on our way to support an artist, and Fik played the song. I told him it was a good song. So the next morning, I asked for Aaronix’s number from Fik and called him to request the remix," she explained during an interview with local television.
Sheebah added that good songs make their way to the top, even without heavy promotion.
