Musician Pallaso has high hopes for singer Eddy Kenzo's appointment as a presidential advisor on creatives.
Speaking in an interview with a local television station, Pallaso explained that it is good for Kenzo to take on this role, and he hopes he will better represent artists in meetings with the President.
He wants the President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation to advocate for the needs of the industry and the artists.
"It's a good thing for him to be appointed as a presidential advisor. We hope that when he gets there, he will advocate for the needs of the artists and the entire industry," he said.
Pallaso also revealed that he is seeing progress in the fight for copyright law and hopes the federation will eventually secure a win for artists.
