The family of the late Tamale Mirundi Junior has recently dominated the media for not-so-good reasons.

They have been a topic of discussion following their meeting with the Prime Minister of the Buganda Kingdom, Peter Mayiga, and a bitter fallout that left Tamale Mirundi Junior with bruises.

Over the weekend, Tamale Mirundi Junior was disowned by his family and clan leaders due to his disrespectful and abusive behavior.

However, the heir to Tamale Mirundi, Joseph John Mirundi, has called for mediation talks between Junior and the clan leaders.

John Mirundi explained that Junior ought to apologize to the family and clan leaders for peace to prevail in the family and the clan.

"Whoever speaks to my younger brother Junior, please tell him to apologize to the elders. Apologizing is not the end of the world, and it's a good thing to do after one makes a mistake. We need peace in the family, and I also ask him to keep family matters out of the media," he said in an interview with a local television station.

However, Tamale Mirundi Junior insists he will not apologize to the clan leaders because they are not of any importance to him.
