Actress and singer Hellen Lukoma was one of the girls in the Obsessions music group.
She even featured in their famous track "Jangu," which has kept the group's name alive to this day.
Speaking about her resignation from the group, Lukoma explained that she wanted to focus on her education. She quit and returned to university to complete her studies.
"I had to go back to campus and focus, so I resigned from Obsessions during my first year, first semester. While at campus, I worked in sales and wanted to go into banking, but that wasn’t my calling," she said in part during an interview with a local television.
Lukoma also said she joined Obsessions as a dancer after being spotted by one of its managers during a talent show in Kampala.
