The most recent case is that of Geosteady, who checked into rehab earlier this month, according to gossip columnist Kasuku.
Speaking on drug abuse, Pallaso explained that musicians are under pressure from fans and struggle to maintain their celebrity status in tough economic conditions.
They resort to abusing drugs to find comfort, which eventually leads to serious harm, forcing them into rehabilitation.
"A musician is always under pressure from fans to deliver various things. This pressure has driven many to drug abuse to cope. Artists also face economic challenges, and many turn to drugs for comfort, which leads to mental health problems," he explained.
