Musician Alien Skin, also CEO of Fangone Forest, has demanded respect and recognition for his role in elevating the Ugandan music industry.

Alien Skin believes that when he entered the industry, it was in decline. Since then, he claims to have contributed to its revival, making it more popular and vibrant.

"The Ugandan music industry should appreciate me for revitalizing it. When I entered, it was at a low point, but now it’s being taken seriously. Just imagine when this generation of Ragga Dee, Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, and Bobi Wine is gone—artists like Liam Voice, Anknown, Vyroota, and Joshua Baraka will carry the legacy," he explained.

Alien Skin made his breakthrough in 2022 with the song "Sitya Danger." He has since topped the industry, inspiring a new wave of artists, including Biswanka, Tom Dee, and Fik Gaza, among others.
