Musician Patrick Mulwana, popularly known as Alien Skin, was remanded to Luzira Prison until December 9th this year for allegedly stealing a phone.
He was sent to prison on Wednesday this week, and various artists have joined his fans in demanding his release.
Among those advocating for his freedom are his nemesis, Pallaso, and struggling musician Kalifah Aganaga. Speaking in a video shared online, Pallaso called for Alien Skin’s release.
He explained that the Sitya Danger hitmaker is a job creator and that keeping him behind bars leaves many youths jobless.
Aganaga believes that Alien Skin is being unfairly targeted and that his imprisonment is not related to the alleged phone theft. He claims that competitors envious of Alien Skin's success are behind the accusations.
He urged the government to set him free.
