Musician Lydia Jazmine works in an industry rife with drug use, a problem that has negatively impacted many, leading some to lose their music careers.
However, Jazmine asserts that she has never used drugs and never will. She explained that while many of her friends use substances such as shisha, she is strongly opposed to engaging in drug use.
"I have never used drugs and will never use them because they are dangerous. Personally, I have friends who smoke shisha and other substances, but I have never tried them. I swear to you on my life, I have never done drugs," she stated during an interview with a local television station.
Jazmine also revealed that she has supported a fellow artist in overcoming drug addiction—an issue that had troubled her friend for years.
"I have a friend—an artist—whose name I prefer not to mention. She used to struggle with drug use, but now she is sober. I am proud to have been one of the people who helped her overcome it," Jazmine explained.
She urged fellow artists to avoid drugs and focus on creating music in the studio.
