Media personality and former singer Mosh Ssendi, also known as Mr Mosh, is set to run for the Makindye East Constituency seat in the upcoming 2026 general elections.

Mosh, who is currently a Lord Councilor at KCCA representing Makindye, says he seeks a higher position to serve his people more effectively.

He explained that money is allocated at the parliamentary level, and he wants the voices of his people to be heard during budget allocations.

"I promised my voters that I would serve only one term as a councilor, and I want to stand by my promise. I aim to represent them better at the parliamentary level, where key decisions are made," he stated in an interview with a local television station.

Mr Mosh is seeking to run for the position on the NUP ticket but will face stiff competition from the incumbent, Nyeko Derrick, and fellow media personality Tuff B, who has also expressed interest in the seat.
