According to Rev Fr Simon Lokodo, Ugandan media has openly and worsened prostitution problems because programmes like NTV’s ‘Be My Date’ hosted by Anita Fabiola and Bukedde TV’s ‘Abanoonya’ have on many occasions promoted the act.

Last month, Lokodo vowed that media houses which publish or broadcast any pornographic material will be closed and as if that was not enough, he hinted on possible closure of social media platforms ---WhatsApp and Facebook .
