Journalists have started a fundraising campaign for former NTV news anchor, Rosemary Nankabirwa, who is battling with cancer at Mulago Cancer Institute.
The team that is headed by NTV reporter Florence Naluyimba, Faridah Nakazibwe a news anchor with NTV also and Grace Nataabalo Adyeeri, has started a drive to solicit money to help fund Nankabirwa’s treatment.
The drive started on social media, Twitter, today under the hash tag #HelpRosemary and was joined by several Ugandans.
Nankabirwa is undergoing treatment for Adrenal cortical carcinoma as well as other complications which have kept her in and out of ICU at the Cancer and Heart Institutes in Mulago.
