Rosemary Nankabirwa's family thankful for the public support

The family of NTV's pioneer new anchor, Rosemary Nankabirwa, is very thankful for the support Ugandans are giving to her.

Rosemary Nankabirwa is battling with a rare disease called adrenal Cortical Carcinoma caused by a cancerous growth in the adrenal cortex, which is the outer layer of the adrenal glands.

Ugandans in the media and entertainment business are contributing money to help in getting Nankabirwa out of the country to receive specialized care she needs to beat the rare cancer.

Nankabirwa’s older brother Ronald Bisereko, while speaking to NTV Uganda, says his sister is strong enough to beat the rare, yet aggressive cancer.

NTV reports that -- Ronald and the family are very appreciative of the love pouring in from all over the country including on social media, from different media houses, especially NTV, and the general public aimed at ensuring Rosemary Nanakabirwa gets the treatment she needs.
