The Two members of Eagles production band on Saturday took their marriage vows at St. Johns Church of Uganda Kijabweemi in Masaka. They later hosted their wedding reception at their home in Mityeebili village, Rakai district.
However, tens of thousands of their supporters thronged Kijabweemi church to catch a glimpse of the couple that was accompanied by dozens of other Music stars.
Oganizers then accused villagers of occupying the church seats that had been reserved for invited guests who included among others political leaders, religious leaders and army officials.

They then sought the intervention of police to evict the uninvited spectators.
This sparked off protests outside the church. Police used batons to batter angry fans who had refused to vacate the premises causing delays in the church ceremony. The angry fans also blocked the road connecting Masaka town to Mbarara bypass causing major traffic jam.
Viola Namusu, a resident of Kirimya trading center says she woke up very early to ensure that she attends church service because she could not travel to Rakai for the wedding reception. She however says she was stunned when organizers evicted her out and offered the seat to Ronald Mugula, a renowned kick boxer.

Charles Njuba, a resident of Rakai says since Lutaaya decided to take their wedding to their village, they would allow people to enjoy the wedding other than brutalizing them. He also says in addition to hiring police to beat up their fans who eventually listen to their music, Lutaaya decided to fence off the wedding reception.
