Eddy Kenzo vs Bebe Cool is probably the biggest beef in Ugandan music today. Kenzo claims Bebe Cool is jealous of other artist and is intimidated of their success ... and that he wants to fight all the time to keep himself relevant in the media, Bebe Cool says he has been in the music industry for over 20 years and should not be compared to any new artist.
While urging the public to stop what he calls hyping Kenzo, he asks them to instead give him time and see with he will stand the test of time.
“I have been in this industry for so long, over 20 years to be specific. You people think staying at the top is easy. I have seen alot of artistes come and go.” It is because of this that he says that the two shouldn’t be compared because they are totally in two different worlds. “As I am thinking about Serena and Zuena, Kenzo is busy hawking his hawking his award and……….”.
However, some fans reason out that Bebe Cool himself is fighting so hard to stay on point, but he's losing himself along the way and has resorted to fighting trending artistes to keep himself relevant.
