In order to be unique and maintain its stronghold on comedy, Laftaz Lounge in partnership with Mirinda, the biggest supporters of comedy in Uganda, will today, Wednesday, bring a new comedy experience to the public.
The new VIP experience dubbed “Jazz Comedy Night” will feature comedians Salvado, MC Kapale and Emma Dragu and De Jazz Band.
Laftaz manager Jonathan Kyeyo says the new night is one of the new innovations they have lined-up for their fans this year. Kyeyo also says Mirinda have accepted to sponsor the One-Mic show by Salvador in June at Serena and the Churchill Live show in Kampala in September under the Mirinda Comedy platform.
Speaking at the launch of Mirinda Comedy last year, Mr Innocent Tibayeita, the head of marketing at Crown Beverages Limited, said: “As we have a proven track record of supporting talent and keeping our consumers entertained after a hard day’s work, we felt the time was right to take Uganda’s comedy credentials to another level and tie it in with Mirinda’s free your fun side thematic.”
