Unknown thugs have killed Hellen Nansubuga, a wife to Kalungu district chairman Richard Kyabaggu in the most horrific murder.
A teacher at Tawhid Primary School in Lwabenge Sub County Nansubuga, was beheaded by the attackers who broke into her home at 2 a.m Tuesday morning.
The district chairman, Kyabaggu was not at home at the time, according to his son Emma Walugembe, who ran in disarray, only to find his mother in cold blood moments later.
But Latif Zaake, the Southern Region Police Commander says police have detained Walugembe to help in investigations after he (Walugembe) attempted to run away prompting police to intervene.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Kalungu Health Centre IV for postmortem.
