Uganda police force is yet to confirm the murder of a case clinic employee Francis Ekalungar.
Ekalungar, a Case Hospital accountant went missing on January 2nd and a body suspected to be his was later found burnt beyond recognition.
The Management of Case Hospital Tuesday announced the disappearance of 49-year-old Ekalungar who is said to have been driving silver Toyota Premio Reg. UAW 899U, on his way to the city centre to bank an unidentified million shillings.
Luke Owoyesigire the Kampala metropolitan spokesperson told us that management reported a missing person after failing to get in touch with him.
“We decided to mount an operation and search for him. Later on in Kajjansi, a body was discovered yesterday in the morning and when we called the family members to identify this body because it was burnt beyond recognition, the workmates said he was the one but some family members said it wasn’t him” Owoyesigire said.
Owoyesigire tells us that police, with permission from family members took samples for DNA test at GAL and are still waiting for the results.
