Two men, 50-year-old Patrick Magero and 62-year-old Dauda Godoi have been sentenced by the High Court Criminal Division to 47 years in Luzira prisons for the murder of Sadiq Ahimbisibwe, a Kampala businessman.
On Wednesday high court judge, Justice Moses Kazibwe sentenced the duo when he found them guilty of murdering Ahimbisibwe. He was shot dead in his retail shop in Kitara-Kikaya in Kawempe Division on March 22, 2016.
According to reports received by Court, during the attack, the suspects also injured two people who were buying merchandise from Ahimbisibwe's shop. Prosecution led by State Attorney, Jonathan Muwaganya presented 13 witnesses to pin the accused. The convicts were represented by Moreen Nabagala.
