Shock and grief have rocked Bulaga A village in Wakiso district after a mother cut her two months old baby to death and attempted to kill herself.
Nakazibwe Robbina resident of Bulanga A and waitress at Pork joint in Kafunda at Bulaga trading centre cut Precious with a panga removing her head.
According to Luke Owoyesigire the Deputy Police Spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan Area, they were informed of what happened and investigations have started.
Owoyesigire adds that exhibits of two Pangas and one Knife have been recovered at the scene with blood stains.
Body of the deceased was taken to City mortuary Mulago for postmortem, while the suspect was rushed to Family Clinic Bulaga for first aid since she cut herself on the left hand in an attempt to commit suicide.
“Our officers are also guarding the suspect in the clinic. Case has been registered under SD REF: 02/06/02/2020 and inquiries have kicked off” He added.
