Police in Kampala have arrested one man over the murder of a Nsambya hospital staff who was found dead in a bush in Namagoma'B' cell, Kyengera T/c Wakiso district.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson says that it is suspected that the deceased was murdered on Tuesday night at an unknown hour.
Police visited the scene and Recorded Statements from witnesses before arresting one suspect to help in investigations.
Police also found the body lying on the stomach with 2 deep cuts on the head and the right ear was cut off. They also found some tomatoes in a black polythene bag near the body.
The deceased was identified as Nasazi Francisca, a medical officer at Nsambya hospital and a r/o Namagoma'B'cell.
Her identuty was confirmed by one Kawenda Muhammad 45 yrs, the defence secretary Namagoma'B' cell.
Nasazi was last seen on the 18/02/2020 at about 9PM at Namagoma'B'cell trading centre. “We suspect she was murdered while on her way back to her home. Inquiries at hand” Onyango added.
