The Police in Kamuli is hunting for a man identified as Mugulusi Martin for allegedly stabbing his 35-year-old lover to death.
The deceased has been identified as Wambuzi Tibita.
According to ASP Kasadha Micheal Regional PRO Busoga North, the incident occurred on 21/3/22 at around 2100/c at Busiri zone, Ndalike parish, Namwendwa Town Council, Kamuli district.
Preliminary information received from neighbours indicates that Tibita had gone outside to bathe, when Mugulusi attacked and stabbed her with a knife, leaving her in a pool of blood.
It is alleged that the two have been in a love affair, but Mugulusi has been threatening to harm the deceased on suspicion that she was being unfaithful to him.
The scene of crime was visited by the Soco team from Kamuli and the body conveyed to Kamuli general hospital for postmortem.
