Police detectives have finally arrested Bamusude Dauda alias Clever Karevu who has been on the run following the murder of his girlfriend Ssebandeke Rahuma Batuma.
It is alleged that Dauda murdered Batuma on 13/04/2022 at Nsambwe B village I in mukono District from their home and left the body stuffed in bedsheets.
He then called the victim’s brother and confessed to the murder, directed him to where the house key was, before fleeing into hiding until Tuesday 26/04/2022 when he was arrested from Bwaise, Kampala.
Asp Luke Owoyesigyire Deputy PRO KMP says the suspect is currently detained at Mukono Police station on allegations of Murder.
He applauded the officers who dully participated in this operation to have the culprit arrested for the resolve and skills they used.
Owoyesigyire says that this goes to show the public that the Police is committed to ensuring that all those who commit heinous acts of murder are arrested and Prosecuted.
