According to Bloody Disgusting, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, star of Get Rich Or Die Tryn’, has been dropping hints that he’ll be in Shane Black’s Predator revival. During a recent radio interview for Sirius XM’s Shade 45, Jackson discussed his upcoming slate of projects: “I’ll be doing some new feature films and stuff like that too. I’ll do Predator.” Jackson seemed less certain during a different interview with 99 Jamz UnCensored, saying, “You heard of the movie Predator? I might be a part of that project this summer.”
Neither Black nor 20th Century Fox has confirmed Jackson’s involvement, but maybe they’re too busy trumpeting how expensive this new Predator will be to focus on the human element—namely, anonymous buff guys being torn in half by camouflaged blades. Or maybe Jackson’s simply trying to will himself into the production because, come on, have you seen his shirtless battle cry? The film, officially titled The Predator, will hit theaters on March 2, 2018, giving Jackson plenty of time to declare his involvement in interviews until Black begrudgingly casts him as Guy Who Dies Second.
