Each and every year, a new TV Drama comes up on our TV screens.  Before they come to our screens, they are well promoted and this gives us hope. After watching the first episode, we get disappointed.  Some are so good but the fighting and intrigue in the groups let us down. Today, we take a look at some TV dramas that went died a natural death.

The Hostel

This was the most watched local TV series on NTV three years back. It was a youthful Series that attracted the youth attention. Students even young cooperate Ugandans would always rush home to watch the Hostel.  The actors and the directors failed to agree on money and that was the end of it. Nobody knows how it went off air but we are sure it didn’t go well.

Trick stars

It was a show for some comedians. We loved it because it even educated us on how thieves attack from different aspects of our lives but the way it went off air was so surprising. We woke up one day and the show was no more.

Deception

Does it still run on NTV? If it does, I am pretty sure no one watches it. It is a dead as I can say it. It is no longer the deception of old days. Most of the actors and actresses seem to have taken another route of life and are doing other things.

Beneath the lies

Their adverts are still on billboards in town. It was one of the best series in Kampala. After few episodes on Urban TV, it stopped airing. Their equipment and some other content were just stolen from them. We don’t know how and when. The movie just died off.
