She was among the lead actresses in the defunct Hostel series that used to air on NTV. Eleanor Nabwiso has come out to reveal why the once popular series stopped airing.
In an interview with Eleanor, she pointed out a few reasons why the group died off.
Money
“I left the group when they started paying us poorly. At the start, the director of the group, Kwezi had set targets for us. Even when we hit them, he never delivered on his promises”, Eleanor said.
Eleanor also revealed that by the time she left the group, she had started a family with fellow actor, Mathew Nabwiso. Her responsibilities had increased and she needed money badly.
“When we decided to start a family, we couldn’t keep working for peanuts. We told our directors our terms but they couldn’t meet them so we quit” Eleanor added.
Greed
According to Eleanor, the group collapsed because the management became so greedy.
“When we started making a lot of money, the directors started having internal fights. The group in turn got affected since their wrangles had got out of control. They couldn’t agree on how to manage the finances.
