Musician Jamal Wasswa might not be releasing hit songs anymore but that doesn’t mean he has no opinion to share about the music industry.
In an interview, Jamal was asked about the ongoing debate about the big three artists, Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Chameleone who are believed to be a big force in the music industry even without much involvement today.
According to Jamal, the idea that the three musicians are leaders of the industry is fake and should not be promoted.
“Who gave them the rank of big three? What do they do that I cannot do? When you ask me about people who have contributed to this industry, I mention Red Banton. He lifted this industry before those guys came up,” Jamal explained.
He added that the three musicians are only big in their homes.
Recently, Bebe Cool urged young musicians to work hard to match their level.
Jamal however disagrees that there is nothing to match when the younger ones are doing better.
