Media personality Omulangira Ndausi is planning to launch a band for musicians who do songs mostly categorized as Kadongo Kamu.
Ndausi says he figured band music is slowly dying in the industry. Some people who used to do it became rich and no longer release music yet fans are thirsty.
“We are going to do auditions for the young singers. They have been coming to me seeking help and I think the best way to the talent is through a band,” he says
Ndausi says the band will be called Silver Bubbles Band.
In an era where most people prefer Afrobeat music, one wonders whether Ndausi’s efforts will pay off.
