Musician Carol Nantogo believes band music pays more than any other music genre in Uganda.
Carol Nantogo explained the supporters of band music have money. They are not like uptown fans who survive on ten thousand Uganda shillings a day.
"Not everyone pays 100K for a show. It's our supporters( band music) who have money because they are self-made or working class. That's why I always say band music is more paying. Those fans of uptown music are broke and can't afford to pay 100K for a concert," she said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Nantogo said following the success of Mesach Semakula's concert on Friday at Serena Hotel, Kampala.
