On Tuesday this week, Eddy Kenzo's federation resumed the jam sessions which have been off for a while.
That day they chose to celebrate legendary Joanita Kawalya and her massive contribution to the Ugandan music industry.
Speaking during the event, Kawalya called for unity among artists and emphasized it's the only way that can bring development to the industry.
"I ask all artists, let us stop fighting one another. Let us unite. Going behind other people's backs is not good for the industry, and it will only keep us back," she partly said.
Joanita Kawalya is a member of Afrigo Band and famous for songs like "Jim," "Olumbe Lwo Bwavu," "Tugende Mu Afrigo," among others.
