Band musician Karitas Kario traveled to the United States of America a few years back, and it seems like everything is going according to plan.
The singer, who first took a break from releasing music this year, returned with an extended play and has been all over Ugandan media promoting it.
Karitas explained that most Ugandan musicians fade away when they reach the USA because they rush to look for a better life and give up on music for other hustles.
"Some artists suffer when they are in the United States because when they move there, they have given up on the music part of their life. So when they reach there, they concentrate on other things like looking for a better life," she said in an interview with NTV Uganda.
Karitas Kario also announced that she will be staging a concert this year.
