Events promoter Abbey Musiguzi, aka Abitex, has revealed he will not be organizing the Nkuuka festival this year.
Abitex explained he was stopped by the Buganda prime minister, Peter Mayiga. He says Mayiga asked the board members of CBS FM not to allow Abitex to promote and organize the show.
"I will not be organizing the Nkuuka festival this year, and I suspect the order came from above. The prime minister of Buganda asked the leadership of CBS not to allow me to stage the festival. However, I also blame Bobi Wine, who promised to come but never showed up, causing the crowds to demand for him, which didn't go well with other people," he partly said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Abitex says he is currently not on good terms with Bobi Wine ever since that day when he refused to turn up for the festival.
