Musician Moses Ssali, aka Bebe Cool, was this year appointed as a board member at the Uganda National Cultural Center alongside Chameleone, among others.
The singer now says his first priority will be fighting corruption at the UNCC and National Theatre. He believes corruption is a vice hindering development in the country.
The singer explained that he is backing President Museveni in fighting corruption and will do everything possible to see transparency at the theatre and in the industry at large.
"We need to give people accountability for the money that goes through this forum. Corruption hinders development, and it's something the President is fighting. I have joined him, and I want things to be done transparently, so development will come to the National Theatre," he partly said.
The singer was meeting a section of artists at the National Theatre alongside the Executive Director of UNCC and other board members.
