Legendary comedian Amooti Omubalaguzi has revealed that his show will proceed as scheduled today, despite the death of his former business partner, colleague, and friend, Messe.
Amooti explained that even during times of grief, funds are needed to facilitate the transportation of the body and to cover other expenses during the mourning and burial period.
"I received the sad news of my brother's passing with utmost grief. It was a shock to me, but after numerous consultations, we decided the show will go on as scheduled. We need money to cater for various services during this mourning period, including transporting the body," he said.
Amooti expressed his condolences to Messe's family and urged his children and parents to remain strong during this difficult time.
The show will take place this evening at the UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo.
