Musician Nandor Love is arguably one of the biggest female artists in the country today, with her songs consistently ranking high on the charts.
She has received significant praise from legendary musician and President of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Cindy Sanyu, for her originality and uniqueness.
Cindy highlighted that Nandor Love has managed to stand out in the industry due to her distinctive style and appearance, unlike many artists who rely on copying and pasting ideas from others.
"Nandor Love has a style that is truly her own. In the industry right now, it is rare to see something original. Most artistes are copying and pasting others’ work, but Nandor Love’s uniqueness stands out,” Cindy explained in an interview with a local television station.
“Her stage presence is captivating. She blends masculinity and femininity in a way that feels refreshing,” Cindy added, further praising Nandor Love’s performance skills.
The UMA president also commended Swangz Avenue singer Vinka, emphasizing her remarkable improvement this year, particularly in confidence and originality on stage.
“Vinka has improved so much. Her stage performance has grown remarkably this year, and it is evident in her confidence and originality,” Cindy noted.
Cindy believes that with fresh musicians entering the industry every day, originality and uniqueness will contribute significantly to the depth, development, and growth of Uganda’s music scene.
