Musician King Saha has been critical of the government and has also directed his criticism at Members of Parliament (MPs) belonging to the National Unity Platform (NUP) party.
The singer urged NUP MPs to protect Bobi Wine's votes as zealously as they protect their own. He emphasized the importance of organizing early and building strong teams to safeguard the votes at all costs.
"As usual, my message goes directly to the Members of Parliament of NUP. This time, I urge you all to protect my President's votes just as you protect your own. Guard them jealously, build strong teams to help you do that early enough, prepare them, and make them ready for the task," he explained while addressing journalists and members of NUP at the party headquarters on Thursday.
King Saha, like Bobi Wine, believes that elections can bring an end to President Museveni's rule.
It should be noted that in November last year, King Saha criticized a section of NUP leaders for betraying Bobi Wine's cause.
He believes some MPs are more focused on their personal survival than on removing the ruling government.
"You betrayed our cause. You Members of Parliament have lost focus; you forgot what took you to parliament. In the long run, you have betrayed us and our President, but we are waiting for you in 2026," he said passionately.
King Saha warned that 2026 could bring serious consequences for those who fail to prioritize the party's mission and goals.
