Singer Kemi Sera, who was once taken in by fellow artist Mary Bata after struggling with depression and addiction, is now publicly asking for forgiveness and a second chance.
In 2022, after years of hardship, Bata offered Sera a home, but the situation became complicated when Sera developed a relationship with Bata's husband, leading them both to leave for South Africa.
Now, Sera has released a video apologizing to those she hurt, admitting she's facing significant challenges.
"It's me, Kemi Sera, the artist who sang for you. I'm here to apologize to anyone I wronged, intentionally or unintentionally, because I've really suffered and I need a second chance," she says.
According to gossip reports, Sera is currently struggling with depression and financial hardship in South Africa. This comes after her promising start in the music industry with Kream Productions, managed by Haruna Mubiru.
