Musician Ragga Dee recently held a concert at the Serena Hotel in Kampala, which did not achieve the anticipated success.

The singer claims that Ugandans, in general, do not appreciate good people and those who have worked hard for others.

"My biggest regret is seeing how Ugandans don’t appreciate a person that has done something good," he said.

Ragga Dee pointed to artists who have abandoned managers who helped them rise to the top, a practice he considers detrimental to the industry. He urged artists to show more appreciation for those who have contributed to their success.

"Look at the managers who have promoted artists to the top. Artists dump these guys after making it. We need people to appreciate those who have done good," he added.

Ragga Dee also asserted that many talented Ugandans are struggling financially due to a lack of support. They have been forced to settle for less than they deserve, he said.

"Most talented people are broke in Uganda. Most of the people who are hot and with very nice voices are nowhere to be seen. They haven't been supported as they should be," he explained.

Despite this, he encouraged artists not to give up and to continue releasing good music for the betterment of the industry.
