Musician Kalifah Aganaga is ready to make amends with those he has clashed with in the past as he campaigns for a seat in the Kawempe North constituency.

Aganaga says he is ready to work with King Saha as he heads toward the elections. He apologized for his past shortcomings and revealed he is going to parliament for the good of artists in the industry.

"King Saha, I ask you to come and support me because once I deliver on copyright issues, it will benefit the entire country. You have brothers, friends, and fans in Kawempe. I ask that you forget the past and move forward together," he explained in an interview with a local television station.

Aganaga believes support from fellow artists and other stakeholders in the music industry will boost his bid.

The aspiring singer will be contesting for the Kawempe North MP position on the FDC ticket.
