Geoffrey Lutaaya, along with Mesach Semakula and Ronald Mayinja, founded the Eagles Production band with other members.
The three have remained friends despite the end of their working relationship in Eagles Production and its eventual closure.
Lutaaya branched out and started New Eagles with his wife, Irene Namatovu. Semakula and Mayinja formed the Golden Band with Catherine Kusasira and Maureen Nantume.
However, they have all remained friends, and Lutaaya believes they have overcome challenges because of the common good that brought them together.
"Despite the misunderstandings in our friendship, the reasons that brought us together kept us from parting ways," he explained in a television interview. "We always face challenges, but we reflect on them and return to the reasons why we started. This has kept us moving forward for the good."
Geoffrey Lutaaya will be holding his concert at the Sheraton Hotel this weekend on Valentine's Day and is receiving support from all his former bandmates, including Mesach Semakula, Ronald Mayinja, Maureen Nantume, and Catherine Kusasira.
