They say “there’s a first time for everything”, Uganda’s finest rap genius Ruyonga alias ‘RRUU’ for the first in front of revealers forgot his lines and left everyone in suspense---dead silence like they way about to say R.I.P at the funeral.
Ruyonga showed up on stage with all the zeal, grabbed the mic and started spitting bars and punch lines like he always did, when the unexpected happened, all of the sudden he went numb and mute on stage frozen stiff for second and laughed it off like I got this , and there was the more bars and punch lines for the next verse. This went down at National Theatre during the Lyricists lounge .Man nobody saw this coming, but it did come and pass. Nobody is perfect after all.
The rapper is believed to be under stress for some reason and he could not have rehashed or just over confidence which has made even some of us not perform to our expectations. Well ‘RRUU’ killed it all the same, it was a cool performance.
