The possible comeback started after D’Banj’s interview a few months back with Olisa on The Truth, when he was asked who really broke up Mo’Hits, reports naij
This was followed by Don Jazzy’s shout out to D’Banj on the latter’s birthday, then D’Banj dedicating his Evolution Award to Don Jazzy at the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) in South Africa.
Now legendary 2Face Idibia has made his own call for the return of the Kokomaster and ‘It’s Don Jazzy Again.’
2Face spoke during his 40th Birthday celebration tagged Fortyfied at the Eko Hotel and Suites on Sunday, September 20, 2015. D’Banj and Don Jazzy were present at the event when 2Face expressed his desire to see them produce a new joint together, declaring that he was a big fan of the duo.
D’Banj on his part opted to perform one of his songs that was leaked a few years ago, ‘I’m Feeling Good’ produced by Don Jazzy, featuring 2Face.
The audience went wild at 2Face and then D’Banj’s requests.
But Don Jazzy looked reluctant to participate in an instant or even anticipated comeback, turning down calls to come up on stage and perform ‘I’m Feeling Good’ with 2Face and D’Banj. He refused the microphone he was offered and at some point, turned his back to the stage.
Don Jazzy and D’Banj, partners and founders of the defunct Mo’Hits, went their separate ways in 2012, with the Don setting up Mavin Records and Kokomaster DB Records.
